What Does "Document Under Moderation" Mean?

Published on:

1 year back

To keep our service useful and convenient for all students, every uploaded document goes through moderation. This helps maintain material quality and prevent rule violations.

Why is moderation necessary?

Moderation helps:

  • Remove empty or useless files
  • Check documents for inappropriate language
  • Ensure materials match their declared type (lectures, cheat sheets, coursework etc.)
  • Protect users from misleading information

How does the review process work?

After uploading, the system automatically analyzes each document based on several criteria:

  • Empty files: Documents without content are rejected
  • Prohibited words: Materials are scanned for insults, profanity and other inappropriate expressions
  • Category compliance: The document must match its declared type (e.g., lecture notes can't just be random words)

After automatic checks, documents go through manual moderation for final approval.
